Role Description

Qualifications

• Certification in Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language of at least 120 hours (e.g., TESOL, CELTA, TEFL certifications).
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of direct experience teaching ESL/EFL classes.
• Preferably 3 to 5 years teaching experience in the computer science engineering field.
• Experience working with adult students or college-level students.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, academic staff, and students.
• Knowledge of current trends in best practices in the field of ESL.
• Experience required in online teaching.
• Experience using Canvas or another LMS.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
