[Hiring] Director of Curriculum & Instruction @Generation

Role Description

The Director of Curriculum & Instruction (C&I), Affiliate and Partner Support oversees the Global C&I team’s program implementation, instructional strategy, and strategic support model for Generation’s 17 countries and direct implementation projects.

• Develop and execute a clear vision for the Affiliate Support Team.
• Directly manage and coach a team of regional and functional Global C&I Leads.
• Serve as the primary strategic thought partner to regional and country leadership.
• Maintain a continuous pulse on the health of teaching and learning across Generation's global network.
• Identify emerging risks and opportunities, support critical strategic decisions.
• Drive the vision for Generation’s global instructor support strategy.
• Collaborate with other senior leaders to improve program implementation and internal C&I team operations.
• Sharpen the global team’s instructional strategy in the context of AI.
• Balance strategic partnership, instructional leadership, and operational problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant educational area; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years instructional design experience.
• Minimum of 5 years setting up and leading high-performing teams.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional leadership.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and curriculum development principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Experience teaching and/or designing instructional content for adult learners from low-income, diverse communities.
• Experience teaching and/or designing instructional materials for populations from different cultures.
• Experience designing blended and fully online learning experiences.
