Role Description

Are you passionate about equipping young adults with the web development and soft skills they need to thrive in the future of work? We're on a mission to prepare the next generation for career success, and we're seeking skilled instructors to join our network of external, part-time contractors.

As a natural educator, you excel at understanding and addressing the unique needs of your students. You know that exceptional learning experiences go beyond content and curriculum—they’re about creating engaging, multi-faceted touchpoints that keep learners motivated and excited. You're comfortable facilitating different sized groups, navigating digital delivery modes, and adapting to the evolving demands of education.

We're seeking facilitators with expertise in:

• Web development skills and best practices.
• Soft skills such as creativity & innovation, adaptability, communication, problem solving, numeracy, and reading & writing.

***Please note that this is an opportunity to expand your portfolio, teaching part-time (remotely) depending on your availability and what programs we have running at any given time.

• Proficiency in using the latest edtech tools to teach and facilitate learning.
• Whether your strength lies in one specific area or across multiple domains, we welcome you to bring your expertise to our team.
• Enthusiastic about guiding learners on their educational journeys.
• Comfort with teaching pre-built programs and tailoring your approach to meet the needs of various groups.
• Embrace continuous learning and appreciate diverse perspectives.

Requirements

• Pay: $30-$60/hr based on experience.
• Flexible schedule, work from home.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, part-time, based on availability.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• Experience: Teaching in a digital environment: 3 years (preferred).
• Education & Instruction Occupations: 3 years (preferred).
• Design thinking: 2 years (required).
• Work Location: Remote.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver Engaging Lessons: Teach using a variety of modalities, ensuring an interactive and supportive learning environment.
• Mentor Learners: Work with students individually and in teams to support their skill development and growth.
• Collaborate on Program Delivery: Partner with the delivery team to ensure the successful execution of programs and the creation of a positive learning atmosphere for all participants.
• Innovate Learning Materials: Contribute to the creation of new learning labs and challenges, tailoring content to different levels and coding languages.
• Facilitate Digital Learning: Utilize various digital delivery platforms to manage group interactions and enhance the learning experience.
