[Hiring] Course Grader – College Algebra @University of Texas at Austin

Role Description

OnRamps Course Graders support course management in the OnRamps College Algebra course through grading of student assessments. They also provide sustained contributions to ongoing initiatives as well as just-in-time assistance with seasonal and urgent projects.

• Maintains accuracy and consistency while grading course assignments and assessments in Canvas Learning Management System.
• Revises and finalizes modules, activities, assessments, and other course resources in Canvas Learning Management System.
• Participates in course prototyping, user testing, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in Mathematics or a related field (such as Engineering or Physics).
• Intermediate computer skills: MS Word, Excel, and Equation Editor. Experience with Canvas LMS.
• Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Requirements

• Interest in and knowledge of local, state, and national dual-enrollment and college-readiness initiatives.
• Expert computer skills: MS Word, Excel, and Equation editor.
• Experiences with Smartsheet.

Benefits

• $12.00 - $14.50 hourly.
