Role Description

Leland is seeking an experienced AR/VR professional to coach students looking to break into or advance within the field. This role includes:

• Helping students strengthen their technical foundation across AR/VR development, spatial computing, 3D interaction design, and XR hardware and software.
• Supporting career development by reviewing resumes and cover letters.
• Refining LinkedIn profiles and preparing students for both behavioral and technical interviews.
• Providing guidance on networking strategy and salary negotiation as students work to land roles in the field.

Ideal candidates have:

• Significant hands-on experience in AR/VR development (industry, research, or freelance).
• Prior mentoring or teaching experience.
• A clear, structured approach to explaining complex technical concepts and career strategy alike.

Coaches set their own hours and rates, host sessions virtually, and partner with our team to deliver a high-quality, supportive experience for every student.
