Role Description

Healthcare Ethics fulfills Ethics and the Common Good in students' General Education requirements, and is a course where students will gain insight in holistically responding to ethical issues from clinical, administrative, and financial perspectives. Students will also develop an understanding of ethical theories rooted in philosophical and theological foundations.

Employed on a per-load-unit basis for a given semester or term. Sole contracted responsibilities are those activities required in the delivery of a course:

• Mentoring/coaching
• Preparation
• Teaching
• Grading
• Office hours

In some instances, there may be some contracted responsibilities for:

• Advising
• Course development
• Meeting other departmental needs

Qualifications

• Candidates should clearly articulate why diversity and inclusive excellence matter to them as persons of faith as well as in their profession.
