[Hiring] Adjunct Instructor - Accounting @Lakeland University

Role Description

Lakeland University, a liberal arts institution, seeks qualified adjunct instructors to teach Online LIVE Accounting courses beginning in the fall, 2026 term.

• Fall Courses:
  • ACC 350 Federal Taxation of Individuals - 3 semester credits
  • ACC 473 Advanced Financial Reporting - 3 semester credits
• Location and Modality:
  • Classes are Online LIVE and require a weekly live class from 6:00-9:15 p.m. as well as online, asynchronous work.
• 12-Week Term Dates: August 24 - November 19

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or closely related field
• Relevant professional experience
• Some teaching experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Teach undergraduate courses in accounting
• Work with full-time faculty and deans to understand and employ activities that meet course learning objectives
• Administer and/or develop coursework (assignments, projects, in-class learning activities, exams) that meets and assesses course learning objectives
• Respond in a timely manner to calls or emails from students, colleagues, or supervisors
• Use university technology as directed
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term
