Join Grand Canyon University’s College of Theology as an adjunct faculty member on our traditional ground campus. Course: Communicating in a 21st-Century Ministry Context

This course prepares students to address various aspects of communication in a local church ministry setting. Emphasis is placed on the various opportunities and challenges to communicate the gospel in small groups, Bible study, and discipleship programs. In addition, the course addresses the need to develop communication skills for a contemporary ministry context.

What You Will Do:

• Equip students with the required skill set.
• Facilitate classroom discussions.
• Assess student performance.
• Prepare students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession.
• Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom.
• Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes.
• Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes.
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

Qualifications

• PhD or DMin from an accredited college or university with coursework in homiletics and communication.
• At least two years professional experience in ministry or teaching at the postsecondary level.
