Role Description

Alexandria Technical & Community College is seeking an ONLINE Biology-Anatomy & Physiology adjunct instructor. We are seeking professionals who have completed formal online pedagogy training. Faculty with experience utilizing open educational resources (OER)/no cost materials preferred. ATCC faculty develop their own courses rather than teaching from prepared course shells. Faculty are expected to teach in accordance with regular and substantive interaction expectations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with a major in biology
• Master's degree in any discipline/field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits (27 graduate quarter credits) in biology

Requirements

• If teaching 4 or fewer credits, instructors will earn $1,650/credit
• Salaries of 5 or more credits will be paid based on the salary scale per the contract
