[Hiring] System Administrator @Nationwide IT Services

Role Description

This role involves supporting the stability and optimization of in-house software systems and network infrastructure.

• Organize and direct the configuration and operation of information management systems.
• Analyze and resolve end-user software and connectivity issues.
• Conduct capacity and performance analyses and recommend configuration changes and system upgrades.
• Increase efficiency and accuracy through automated tools, scripts, procedures, and skills assessments.
• Develop and deliver end-user training.
• Provide recommendations on technology direction to align with the organization’s business vision.
• Lead and mentor other system administrators, overseeing day-to-day system administration, resource optimization, and user support.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing and fault tolerance.
• Perform vulnerability management and ensure adherence to security best practices.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a technical discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of specialized experience in Information Processing
• Progressive work with a variety of hardware/software solutions across information processing disciplines
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting software and systems
• Experience providing local and remote maintenance support for operational systems in multi-site environments
