[Hiring] Staff DevOps / SRE @Yubo

Role Description
As many new tools and products emerge within Yubo, we are currently expanding the team to help with the industrialisation of our infra and its automation. This Staff DevOps/SRE position acts as a bridge between the infra team and the rest of the tech squads.
As a Staff DevOps/SRE engineer, part of the infrastructure team and reporting directly to the head of the infrastructure, you will play a key role in designing, deploying and maintaining our technical infrastructure while coaching and mentoring less experienced team members with the goal to become one of the pillars of our Infra expertise.
Your expertise will help ensure reliability, scalability and security of our system. Your primary mission will be to ensure the smooth operations of our infrastructure while leading continuous improvement initiatives.
As part of your job, you will be working on tools that process personal data relating to Yubo users. As a social media platform, we require our employees to have a strong awareness and understanding of privacy issues, and in particular of children's online safety, privacy and well-being.

- Develop, deploy and manage robust and stable systems using cloud technologies and automation tools
- Enhance continuous integration and deployment processes to increase efficiency and the quality of deliverables
- Implement advanced observability tools to ensure availability and performance
- Identify, diagnose and quickly resolve production issues to minimize user impact
- Guide less experienced engineers, share knowledge and promote a culture of continuous learning
- Collaborate closely with development, data and security teams to align objectives and initiatives
Qualifications
- At least 10-12 years of experience as a DevOps or SRE, ideally within a startup or scaleup environment
- Strong operational experience working with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration
- Deep expertise in the Linux ecosystem and its fundamental role in shaping modern containerized environments
- Experience in a GCP or AWS environment
- Familiarity with event sourcing architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, NATS)
- Ability to work and design complex workflow systems with tools such as ArgoWorkflow
- Experience with software configuration management tools such as Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, Chef
- Strong knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana, Loki, Datadog, Prometheus
- Fluency in French and comfort working in English
Requirements
- Discover the complexity of our technical infrastructure and tools within a month
- Discuss with senior members of other teams to understand their issues and difficulties
- Start working on SRE issues with current projects of the team within a month
- Work on API gateway setup & deployment to split our APIs monoliths within 6 months
- Improve our observability stack using tracing technologies within 6 months
- Internalize Android CI and manage feature branches as CRD through Feature Apps web app within 6 months
- Expand the use of tools like SaltStack and Argo Workflow to automate infrastructure management and facilitate deployments within 6 months
- Automate the monitoring stack through Kubernetes operators within 6 months
