Role Description

The DLA Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Development and Sustainment program supports modernization, enhancement, and sustainment of a mission-critical defense procurement and payment platform comprising approximately 34 applications. The program focuses on:

• Enterprise software modernization
• Legacy-code refactoring
• Agile/DevSecOps delivery
• AWS GovCloud operations
• CI/CD automation
• Cybersecurity
• AI/ML integration
• Automated testing
• Improved system performance and user experience

Responsibilities include:

• Drives strategy, oversees architecture of continuous integration and deployment, and monitors across technologies
• Defines Scrum Agile methodology for large scale clients
• Serves as the engineer of complex technology implementations in a product-centric environment
• Uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance
• Minimum 10 years of experience
• Experience defining Scrum Agile methodologies for large scale
• Experience in leading DevOps methodologies, implementing Test Driven Development (TDD) Methodologies, and driving automated software development lifecycle
• Experience with deployments in both premise and cloud environments
• Experience as an engineer of complex technology implementations in a product-centric environment
• Experience with DevOps services using infrastructure as a service provider (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, RackSpace / OpenStack)
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., TFS, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt, LVM)
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., LXC, Docker, Rocket, OpenShift)
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, SAST/DAST, Java/full-stack and SAFe
• Bachelor or Master degree is required
• CSP Certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure SA, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure)
