Role Description

The Senior Systems Engineer leads the design system architecture, implementation, and management of the integrated IT/cyber-security integrated systems.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in an IT related position or ten years of experience in IT-Operations or Management.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT related subject matter area from an accredited college or university.
• Current drivers’ license.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship.
• Application development experience with .NET, SQL, and/or Microsoft SharePoint.

Requirements

• Ability to oversee an organization’s IT Systems, manage and lead staff including daily operational needs, project planning, technology updates, and management briefings.
• Ability to plan, design, develop, evaluate, test, and integrate an organization’s IT infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.
• Ability to define system and product requirements to ensure efficient planning and execution of the IT systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and remediate hardware and software issues.
• Knowledge of Microsoft, VMware, Storage, NIST, FISMA, and Cisco Technologies.
