Role Description

99Bright Minds is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer (Microsoft Azure) to manage, secure, and optimize the client's cloud infrastructure and digital platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing and maintaining Azure environments (dev, staging, production) using infrastructure as code.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for the web and mobile frontends, APIs, and CMS.
• Applying cybersecurity and data-protection best practices: identity and access, secrets management, WAF, network security, encryption, and backups.
• Setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting, and responding to incidents and outages.
• Managing domains, SSL certificates, CDN, and caching for performance and availability.
• Supporting secure integrations with external systems (API gateways, private endpoints, service connections).
• Controlling cloud cost and running regular security and compliance reviews.
• Documenting the infrastructure, runbooks, and disaster-recovery steps and handing them over to the client's team.

Qualifications

• 5 years in DevOps or cloud engineering, with strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Azure services: App Service, Static Web Apps, Front Door/CDN, Key Vault, Azure SQL or Cosmos DB, Monitor/Application Insights, Entra ID.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform or Bicep/ARM.
• CI/CD with Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions.
• Containers and Docker; Kubernetes (AKS) is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of cloud security and data-protection practices.
• At least one delivered project for a client in Saudi Arabia.
• Proficient in Arabic and English.

Requirements

• Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-500) - Nice to have.
• Experience with Saudi regulations: NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls and the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), including data residency in Azure KSA regions - Nice to have.
• Hosting enterprise CMS platforms on Azure - Nice to have.
