[Hiring] Senior DevOps Engineer @Veradigm

Role Description

Veradigm is expanding its DevOps Engineering team and is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Senior DevOps Engineer to support and evolve our platforms and systems. This role is critical to the success of our VEHR/VPM/VIE products and will be responsible for building and deploying solutions and services in On-premises and Hosted environment. Simultaneously, it will also support Azure environments used by the Dev/QA teams.

• Knowledge of secure DevOps practices (secrets management, compliance, scanning tools)
• Exposure to container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Configuration Management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, etc.) is a plus
• Able to work with developers supporting both modern and legacy applications
• Comfortable with debugging build failures and deployment issues
• Self-driven and motivated, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
• Excellent documentation skills
• Capable of mentoring junior DevOps team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Azure and/or Terraform Certifications are a plus

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably across development, operations and infrastructure
• Experience with version control (Github environments, GitHub expertise and GIT workflow best practices)
• Proven experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with hands-on experience with Github actions
• Expertise in Azure cloud platforms including compute, storage and networking, Identity and Access management and Monitoring and alerting
• Strong experience with Terraform for managing Azure infrastructure
• Familiarity with Azure specific resources (App services, Azure SQL, Key Vault, etc.)
• Strong scripting skills in Powershell, Python or Bash. Experience writing deployment scripts, cleanup routines, log parsers and tooling for development teams
• Experience supporting applications built in Vb6, Delphi and .net (framework and core) - build and deployment automation
• Ability to work around outdated or manual build processes
• Experience with Monitoring and logging tools like Azure monitor/Application insights, Log analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
