Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team, focusing on both Red5 Pro and Red5 Cloud product lines. As a mid-level DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support our real-time streaming solutions.
- Collaborate closely with development, operations, and support teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and enhancements into our products.
- Setup and deploy Red5 Pro application on cloud platforms in production environments.
- Design and implement solutions for automating software deployment and monitoring.
- Automate processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
- Continuously evaluate existing systems with industry standards and advocate for latest technology inclusion.
- Support and work alongside cross-functional engineering team.
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or relevant industry experience.
- Certification in AWS, OCI, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with real-time streaming technologies or media delivery platforms.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and log management solutions.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
Requirements
- Experience with Terraform, both in using it for deployments and for developing deployment scripts.
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies through self-learning.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Strong team player.
- Familiarity with at least one cloud provider.
- Linux administration and scripting (bash, python).
- Understanding of Kubernetes in both Cloud Platforms and Private Datacenters.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Gitlab.
