Role Description
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join an exciting project for a leading social gaming platform that connects millions of users worldwide. The platform features multiplayer games, chat functionalities, and a seamless user experience, all powered by cutting-edge cloud infrastructure.
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Helm
- Develop and support Kubernetes clusters, including custom operators
- Ensure system observability through monitoring tools like Datadog
- Collaborate with backend and client teams to support feature delivery and system reliability
- Drive continuous improvement and adherence to DevOps best practices
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services (EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, etc.)
- Proficiency with Terraform and Helm for infrastructure automation
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including maintaining and developing Kubernetes Operators
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD processes, particularly with GitHub Actions
- Experience in observability and monitoring, specifically using Datadog
- Basic proficiency in Golang and Python for infrastructure-related tooling
- Understanding of Postgres administration and GRPC communication protocols
- Commitment to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices and modernizing infrastructure where possible
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude
- English fluency at B2 level
Requirements
- Experience with high-load, distributed systems (50+ microservices) - Nice to have
- Understanding of latency optimization and real-time data processing (e.g., WebSockets) - Nice to have
- Familiarity with game server infrastructure and backend services (e.g., matchmaking, leaderboards) - Nice to have
- Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for cloud infrastructure in high-traffic environments - Nice to have
- Experience with CDN configuration and optimization for dynamic and static content delivery - Nice to have
