Role Description

As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer (m/w/d) in Hamburg, you will:

• Take ownership of the AWS setup, keeping it stable, scalable, and future-proof by applying Infrastructure as Code.
• Design and run containerized microservices with Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring smooth scaling and supporting agile teams in rolling out new features.
• Streamline deployments by automating pipelines with GitLab CI and Terraform, while maintaining clear and up-to-date infrastructure documentation.
• Build monitoring solutions that cover integration, staging, and production, spotting issues early and reacting quickly to alerts and incidents.
• Partner closely with internal development teams, helping them maximize the platform's potential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role.
• Highly skilled in AWS and comfortable managing infrastructure through IaC.
• Confident working with container platforms and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong track record using CI/CD solutions like GitLab CI and Terraform for automation.
• Thrives on collaboration and enjoys working closely with agile teams and different stakeholders across the business.
