Role Description

The Senior Cloud / DevSecOps Engineer designs, engineers, automates, and operates secure enterprise cloud and hybrid-cloud environments supporting mission-critical government workloads. This role provides technical leadership across:

• AWS GovCloud
• Cloud architecture
• Infrastructure automation
• Container platforms
• CI/CD
• DevSecOps
• Application migration
• Cloud operations

Responsibilities include:

• Designing, provisioning, optimizing, and operating enterprise AWS environments across large multi-account architectures.
• Extensive experience with AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform, Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Ansible for repeatable infrastructure provisioning.
• Designing and supporting end-to-end CI/CD capabilities and pipeline automation.
• Engineering and operating Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, Amazon ECS, and Docker environments.
• Planning and executing migrations from on-premises infrastructure to AWS-hosted environments.
• Designing and maintaining infrastructure spanning AWS GovCloud, AWS Commercial, Microsoft Azure Government, and on-premises environments.
• Engineering, administering, securing, and troubleshooting RHEL and Windows Server systems.
• Implementing infrastructure according to DoD RMF, DISA STIGs, SRGs, FedRAMP, and AWS security best practices.
• Integrating AWS services with enterprise COTS/GOTS applications.
• Providing Tier III engineering, production support, and operational sustainment for mission-critical environments.
• Leading engineering teams and collaborating with various stakeholders.
• Supporting technologies including Jenkins, Splunk, Prisma Cloud, CyberArk, and others.
• Experience with Azure Boards, Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
