Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Red Hat Ansible Automation Specialist to support enterprise automation initiatives focused on infrastructure automation, configuration management, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, automation frameworks, and enterprise IT environments. The successful candidate will work closely with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to design, develop, and implement scalable automation solutions that improve deployment processes, system reliability, and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Create, manage, and optimize Ansible playbooks, roles, modules, and automation workflows.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, patching, deployments, and operational tasks.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Application teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks and establish best practices for Ansible adoption.
• Integrate Ansible automation with CI/CD pipelines and enterprise tooling.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation processes and workflows.
• Support automation initiatives across Linux, cloud, and enterprise environments.
• Perform code reviews and provide recommendations to improve automation quality and maintainability.
• Document automation solutions, processes, and technical procedures.
• Assist teams with migration from manual processes to automated workflows.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience developing Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows.
• Experience with configuration management, infrastructure automation, and system administration.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience integrating Ansible with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an asset.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or similar certification.
• Experience with Ansible Tower / Ansible Automation Controller.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise automation initiatives.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Experience with container platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Understanding of security automation and compliance frameworks.
