Role Description
As a DevOps/Platform Engineer at Bizzdesign, you will work with our globally AWS-hosted SaaS platform, used by some of the largest companies in the world.
- Strengthen and build the next iteration of the platform and the tooling to support it.
- Collaborate with Development, Operations, and Security teams to solve challenges associated with a highly available and 24/7 platform.
- Initiate changes through trunk-based development, supported by GitOps.
Qualifications
- Currently based in the Netherlands, Germany, or United Kingdom.
- Willingness to learn, grow, expand knowledge, ask questions, and step outside comfort zone.
- Critical thinker, detail-driven, able to manage time across several projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and good level of abstract thinking.
- Proficient in Terraform, JQ, AWS cloud services, Python, Git, Bash.
- Proven experience working with remote/asynchronous teams.
- Experience operating and maintaining a platform or software product with high availability and/or 24/7 usage.
- Willing and able to be part of on-call rotation, one week every 6 weeks.
- At least 2 years of experience as a DevOps or Platform Engineer.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Affinity with software development and principles like DRY, Clean Code, Functional Programming.
- Able to work with a continuous high number of (code) changes around you.
