Role Description
As a Mapon IT Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining server infrastructure, managing hardware and software, and providing technical support to our team both in Latvia and internationally.
- Prepare computers and other equipment for new employees
- Provide daily IT support to users (1st and 2nd level assistance)
- Plan and carry out IT equipment and accessory purchases in collaboration with suppliers
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on computers, printers, and other IT devices (or coordinate with service providers)
- Administer and configure network devices (switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points, etc.)
- Conduct IT infrastructure audits and documentation
- Implement and maintain IT device management systems (such as MS Intune or similar)
- Travel to other Mapon offices if needed for IT system maintenance or implementation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role (at least 2–4 years)
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS environments, computer hardware, and IT security basics
- Understanding of network configuration (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, etc.)
- Knowledge and/or experience with IT security solutions (firewalls, IDS, antivirus software)
- Experience with MS Intune or similar device management systems
- Experience in researching, evaluating, and implementing IT solutions
- Ability to work independently and organize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills in Latvian and English
