Role Description
As the DevSecOps Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be working on the continuous improvement and operation of our DISA SRG IL4 and FedRAMP-Moderate compliant infrastructure. Given the nature of our compliance requirements, we exclusively operate in AWS GovCloud.
- Play an integral role in rolling out our next wave of infrastructure improvements.
- Advocate for best practices and optimal design decisions.
- Engage in security, automation, and observability.
- Improve and maintain our Developer team's infrastructure tooling.
- Ensure painless testing and deployments.
- Participate in on-call rotation for operational excellence.
- Ensure uptime and system reliability during critical windows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent in experience
- Minimum 5 years industry experience
- US Citizenship
Requirements
- Exposure and experience to a portion of the following is needed:
- Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / AWS CDK)
- EC2
- Container orchestration (ECS / EKS / Kubernetes)
- IAM (Least Privilege / Cross-account access management)
- TCP Networking
- GitLab
- CodeCommit / CodePipeline / CodeDeploy
- Security Scanning and automation
- PostgreSQL (RDS / Aurora)
- Observability tooling (Amazon OpenSearch / CloudWatch)
- FedRAMP / NIST-800-53
- GovCloud deployment and operations
- FIPS-140-2
- NGINX
- NodeJS / TypeScript
- Identity Provider Management (SAML / OIDC)
- Bash
