Role Description

We at Stalwart Innovations Pvt Ltd are looking for a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our remote team and help us build and maintain reliable and scalable infrastructure for our global client's projects.

  • Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager).
  • Implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or similar.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of our infrastructure and applications.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to address critical system issues.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth and efficient software releases.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of our DevOps practices and methodologies.
  • Focus on improving system reliability, performance, and scalability, aligning with SRE principles.

Qualifications

  • 15 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with at least one popular CI/CD tool (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Hands-on experience with at least one IaC tool (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager).
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Experience with Docker and container management.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm (Desirable).
  • Experience with setting up and utilizing monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team.

Requirements

  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef (Nice to Have).
  • Knowledge of SRE principles and practices (Nice to Have).
  • Experience with serverless technologies (Nice to Have).
  • Security best practices in cloud environments (Nice to Have).
