[Hiring] DevOps Engineer I @Banner Health

Role Description

The Intelligent Automation team is responsible for providing automation workflows for other Banner departments in order to create efficiencies in their workflows. As DevOps Engineer I, you will mainly work to develop solutions using automation and AI technologies. Adherence to best practices from the center of excellence is mandatory. Communication skills, creative thinking, and a strong drive to learn and excel in new technologies are a must.

An ideal candidate would have:

• 2+ years of related experience
• Past experience/interest with workflows and design
• Time management skills
• Multitasking abilities
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent customer service

The typical schedule for this role is Monday-Friday 8a-5p with limited schedule flexibility. This position is also remote. Employees may work remotely if they reside in one of the following approved states: AL, AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, WV, or WY. Please note that candidates residing outside of these approved states are not eligible for consideration for this position.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge typically obtained by a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of relevant education, technical, business, and healthcare experience.
• Minimal experience, typically gained through 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding and ability to work with at least one programming language and related hardware.
• Communication and presentation skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to communicate and interact across facilities and at various levels.
