  • Solid, hands-on understanding of AWS; exposure to Azure or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Practical experience with containerization and orchestration - Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash/Shell) for automation.
  • Working knowledge of Linux system administration.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, DataDog or CloudWatch.
  • Strong understanding of Git and collaborative version control workflows.
  • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) in a deployment/operations context.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices (DevSecOps), including exposure to SAST/DAST tools, container vulnerability scanning and secrets management solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and root-cause-analysis skills.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • A committed, self-motivated individual able to take ownership of the role and work independently as well as in a team, and willing to participate in an on-call rotation to support production incidents outside business hours.
  • A portfolio of relevant projects, certifications (e.g. AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes) or previous work experience is highly desirable.
