Role Description

As part of our global Engineering organization, you will contribute to the design, automation, deployment, and operation of cloud-native platforms and infrastructure supporting mission-critical video technologies. This role is suitable for engineers at different career stages, from early-career professionals building their cloud and automation expertise to experienced engineers leading platform architecture, operational excellence, and DevOps transformation initiatives.

What you'll do

• Platform Engineering & Automation
  • Design, build, deploy, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure platform solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management solutions.
  • Automate deployment, provisioning, monitoring, and operational processes.
  • Improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, and security.
  • Build reusable automation frameworks and operational tooling.
  • Participate in platform modernization and cloud adoption initiatives.
• CI/CD & DevOps enablement
  • Design, implement, and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.
  • Support engineering teams in adopting DevOps practices and automation-first approaches.
  • Improve release automation and deployment processes.
  • Contribute to software delivery best practices across development teams.
  • Support version control, build automation, testing, and release management processes.
• Cloud & Infrastructure operations
  • Manage and support infrastructure deployed across cloud and virtualized environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design resilient and highly available systems.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and troubleshoot platform issues.
  • Support disaster recovery, scalability, and operational readiness initiatives.
  • Participate in incident investigation and root-cause analysis activities.
• Collaboration & Continuous improvement
  • Work closely with Software Engineers, Test Engineers, Architects, Product Teams, and Operations teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and delivery activities.
  • Support technical reviews, operational reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to engineering best practices, depending on experience level.

Qualifications

• Experience with one or more cloud providers: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, cloud deployments, high-availability solutions, and platform operations.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Go, or Java.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and load balancing.

Requirements

• Mid-Level engineers: Experience supporting cloud or infrastructure platforms, ability to independently design and implement automation solutions.
• Senior & Lead engineers: Experience defining platform architecture and engineering standards, proven ability to lead automation and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Strong troubleshooting and operational skills.
• Ability to mentor engineers and drive technical best practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience improving engineering productivity, reliability, and scalability.
