Role Description

The DevOps Engineer, under the inspiring guidance of the Manager, Automation, plays a pivotal role in supercharging the infrastructure that fuels Trinity’s cutting-edge technology strategy. This exciting position is all about bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring our cloud-based systems are not just reliable, but also scalable and secure. The Senior DevOps Engineer will have the thrilling opportunity to:

Qualifications

• BA/BS (4-year degree) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar role within a professional development environment.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum framework.
• Hands-on experience with core AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and ECS/EKS.
• AWS certification is a plus.
• Working knowledge of IaC tooling such as Terraform.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience with tools like Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, Helm) and container orchestration concepts.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog).
• Experience managing work in a toolset such as Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
• Familiarity with static, dynamic, and security code analysis tooling.
