Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in AWS, Kubernetes (K8s), and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and deployment processes, ensuring best practices in automation, security, and scalability.
- Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes (K8s) environments, including deployment strategies using ArgoCD, Kustomize, and GitHub Actions.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- Implement best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure smooth deployments and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring high availability.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on IT experience, mainly as a DevOps engineer.
- Strong experience with AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, and networking.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) and related tools (ArgoCD, Kustomize, Helm).
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitHub Actions and other automation tools.
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other relevant languages.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
Requirements
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty) would be cool.
- Extensive experience with cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies and advanced networking concepts in Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with NATS, Vercel, Kafka, Rabbit MQ.
