Role Description
As a DevOps Engineer, you will automate and optimize blockchain delivery processes across multiple global regions, driving innovation and operational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to explore new tools, propose innovative designs, and optimize our customers' experience by diving deep into both blockchain technologies and infrastructure.
The platform you build and the nodes deployed on top will directly contribute to the success of Validation Cloud's #1 Ranked Node API product and Enterprise Staking solution.

Key Responsibilities
- Automate the deployment, monitoring, and testing processes for blockchain node infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain bare metal servers and networking configurations.
- Work with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure, including managed control planes.
- Collaborate with software teams to ensure smooth operations and support production releases.
- Ensure data security through compliance with standards such as SOC2.
- Participate in and support the on-call rotation to ensure uptime and operational success.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of DevOps experience, ideally with a strong background in systems administration and bare metal environments.
- Proficiency in Go or similar languages.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and monitoring tools such as DataDog.
- Prior experience in smaller Web3 companies or larger organizations with bare metal footprints.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, and related tools.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud environments.
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Requirements
- This is a 100% Remote position, however it is preferred this person is located on the East Coast of North America or in Europe.
Bonus Experience
- Experience deploying node infrastructure for blockchain networks.
- Recent experience building on top of bare metal infrastructure.
- Background in multi-region environments with 1,000+ servers and 24/7 uptime requirements.
- Security experience, including private keys, containers, and architectural best practices.
