Role Description

We’re looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services. In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping and executing cloud strategies tailored to each project's and client's needs. You'll work across different cloud platforms and environments, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

This position requires a deep understanding of cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, automation, and DevOps best practices. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain reliable cloud environments aligned with technical and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to define and execute cloud strategies for various projects.
• Evaluate and implement cloud deployment models (public, private, hybrid, multi-cloud).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Develop scripts and automation solutions using Python, Golang, or Bash.
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud-based systems and services.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards across all environments.
• Support migration of applications to the cloud and modernize legacy systems.
• Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with major cloud service providers: AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
• Experience in networking, storage, and cloud administration.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid grasp of DevOps principles and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with at least one scripting language: Python, Golang, or Bash.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Requirements

• Preferred Certifications (a plus, not mandatory):
• Cloud Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer.
• Kubernetes: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
• Specialized Certifications: AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
• Nice to Have:
• Experience working with hybrid or multi-cloud architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies and tools.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO, SOC2, or HIPAA.
