Role Description

DMI, LLC is seeking a Cloud DEV SecOps III to join us. The Cloud DEV SecOps III integrates development, security, and operations disciplines to deliver secure, automated, and continuously improving software and infrastructure delivery pipelines for TSA’s cloud-hosted systems.

• Designs and implements CI/CD pipelines.
• Automates security scanning and compliance checks within the development lifecycle.
• Ensures that all cloud-deployed software and infrastructure meet DHS and TSA security policies before reaching production.
• Works across engineering and security teams to embed security as a mission enabler.
• Reduces risk while accelerating delivery velocity across the TALON project portfolio.
• Implements and maintains DevSecOps toolchains encompassing:
  • Source control
  • Automated testing
  • Vulnerability scanning
  • Container security
  • Infrastructure-as-code
• Designs secure deployment architectures for containerized workloads on platforms such as Kubernetes and ECS.
• Establishes monitoring and alerting capabilities that support ongoing compliance with FISMA controls and DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) requirements.
• Contributes to the development of TSA’s cloud security baselines.
• Provides technical guidance on hardening approaches.
• Supports incident response activities related to cloud-hosted systems.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated proficiency in CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions), container technologies, infrastructure-as-code tools, and cloud security services.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices within FISMA-governed federal environments is strongly preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), or equivalent are valued.
• All personnel must be U.S. citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents with the ability to obtain TSA fitness determination and handle Controlled Unclassified Information.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
