[Hiring] Build Infrastructure Engineer @JetBrains

Role Description

We strive to streamline the development of JetBrains IDEs, so we are looking for a person who would help us support and develop infrastructure for quick and easy test runs, installer builds, product releases, and related tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java or Kotlin stack development.
• Familiarity with build systems such as Bazel, Gradle, or Maven.
• Experience with DevOps tooling such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Packer, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with Linux fundamentals and shell scripting.
• Understanding of the algorithms behind the code you write.
• Strong teamwork skills and openness to diverse opinions.
• Willingness to communicate and collaborate closely with other teams.
• Desire to grow as a professional by learning and applying new approaches and technologies.
• Pride in the work you do.
• Contribution to open-source projects or development of personal projects.

Requirements

• Source code stored in Git, with the public part available on GitHub.
• Source code written in Java 17 and Kotlin.
• Development of build tools using Kotlin scripts.
• Effective team collaboration using JetBrains products: Space, TeamCity, and YouTrack.
