Role Description
This role focuses on automating infrastructure deployments using Terraform and Azure DevOps while aligning with specific Microsoft best practices such as continuous compliance, secure CI/CD, and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles. The candidate will streamline deployments and integrate robust automation workflows to maintain secure and scalable Azure environments.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules that implement best practices like parameterized templates, version control, and idempotency.
- Build and manage Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD, ensuring that deployments incorporate secure configurations (e.g., RBAC, conditional access, and least privilege).
- Work closely with the Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to integrate secure automation workflows, including Azure Policy compliance checks during deployments.
- Collaborate on implementing continuous monitoring and feedback loops using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Continuously evaluate and improve automation processes using industry-leading practices such as immutable infrastructure and blue-green deployments.
- Document automation scripts, pipeline configurations, and infrastructure deployment strategies, referencing Microsoft’s guidelines.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support for deployment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and security integrity.
Qualifications
- Experience with containerized deployments and orchestration tools such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Docker.
- Knowledge of security automation and integration with tools like Azure Sentinel.
Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand, and bend for the duration of shift.
- The position is mainly sitting, with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, such as laptop, server equipment, and driving to the work site to meet with client(s).
