Role Description

We are seeking an entry-level Video Editing Assistant to support UK-based clients with their content creation and video production needs. This fully remote role is open to candidates across South Africa — no prior professional experience is necessary, as comprehensive training and onboarding are provided to set you up for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns
• Add captions, transitions, music, and effects to video content as directed
• Organise and manage video files and assets in shared drives
• Assist with basic colour grading and audio adjustments
• Export videos in appropriate formats and resolutions for various platforms
• Collaborate with the creative team to align video content with brand guidelines
• Incorporate feedback and revisions in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Basic familiarity with video editing software such as CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Adobe Premiere (training provided)
• Creative eye with attention to detail and visual storytelling
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills and willingness to take direction
• Passion for content creation and digital media
• No formal qualifications required — enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key

Requirements

• Reliable laptop or desktop computer
• Stable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps)
• Quiet, dedicated home workspace
• Backup power solution (UPS or inverter recommended)
