Role Description
The UX/UI Designer is a skilled contributor responsible for delivering user-centered designs for assigned product features and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. This role emphasizes strong execution, attention to detail, and growth in design craft while supporting design system adoption and contributing to team success. Mid-Level designers participate in research, prototyping, and design execution, with opportunities to mentor junior peers informally.
Position Responsibilities

Design user interfaces and experiences for assigned features, ensuring usability and visual consistency.

Conduct usability testing and apply findings to improve design.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with product requirements.

Ensure designs meet accessibility and brand standards.

Contribute to design system components and maintain consistency across projects.

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other designers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Stay updated on UX/UI trends and best practices to continuously improve design quality.

Responsible for adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct, including reporting of noncompliance.
Qualifications

Bachelorβs Degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience.

3β5 years' experience in a UX or Product Designer role.

Proficiency in Figma and other UX/UI design tools.

Experience designing responsive interfaces and applying accessibility standards.

Portfolio demonstrates strong UX/UI principles and real-world projects.

Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS; familiarity with design-to-development handoff.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
