Role Description
The UI/UX Designer is responsible for working with internal stakeholders, product managers, developers, and end-users to translate requirements and improve UX solutions through various design methods. This position plays a critical role in the design of our proprietary products and focuses on providing solutions to complicated problems.

Work with product managers and end-users to define product functionality and translate specs into wireframe prototypes.

Design clear conceptual work that demonstrates UX flow and use-case scenarios.

Create user stories to ensure developers understand the business case and build optimal features.

Present features to end users, collect feedback, and make adjustments as necessary.

Design graphical solutions for various media types (print, web, mobile, email, etc.).

Participate in development meetings to drive product vision.

Perform other design-related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field to include computer design, graphic arts, visual arts, or related degree.

2+ years of experience in web application design.

Expert at working with design software (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite), including proficiency in advanced functions (vectors and compositing).

Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Understanding of best practices in UI and UX design.

Ability to meet tight deadlines while providing creative and high-quality solutions.

Must have an outstanding portfolio with innovative and creative yet functional designs.

Must have experience creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.

Exceptional visual design skills while prioritizing optimal user-system interaction.

Naturally organized, able to work autonomously, with the ability to quickly reprioritize projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Strong level of initiative and flexibility.

Must be able to communicate technical components of an initiative effectively in both technical and business terms.
