Role Description

Join Delish as a Temporary Video Editor and help create engaging, high-quality content that entertains, inspires, and connects with millions of viewers across digital and social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit compelling, broadcast-quality short-form and digital-first videos for platforms including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, and emerging social channels.
• Craft engaging narratives by identifying the strongest moments from large volumes of raw footage and shaping them into entertaining, audience-focused stories.
• Collaborate with producers, editors, and the creative team to develop fresh ideas and deliver high-quality content that aligns with Delish’s voice and visual standards.
• Apply brand style guidelines while bringing creative solutions that elevate storytelling and maintain a polished, consistent look and feel.
• Contribute to pre-production brainstorming sessions and provide creative input that strengthens video concepts from planning through final delivery.
• Maintain organized post-production workflows, media management, and storage best practices to support efficient collaboration and project delivery.
• Utilize Adobe Premiere as the primary editing platform while incorporating Adobe Creative Suite tools to enhance video quality and production value.
• Balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on post-production experience in broadcast, digital media, film, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience editing high-volume, fast-paced video content with exceptional storytelling instincts.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with After Effects and Photoshop is preferred.
• Working knowledge of color correction and post-production best practices.
• Strong understanding of production and post-production workflows, media management, and social platform specifications.
• Experience troubleshooting Adobe Creative Suite and media storage workflows is a plus.
• Keen awareness of evolving social media trends, digital storytelling techniques, and editing styles.
• Excellent organizational, collaboration, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative creative team.

Requirements

• This is a fully remote position.
• The hourly pay rate for this role is $50.00 per hour.
• This position is not eligible for bonus or commission compensation.
• Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
