[Hiring] Sound Designer/Sound Editor @Streamland Media LLC

Role Description

Formosa Interactive is looking for a seasoned Sound Editor with game audio experience who can edit and master dialogue across multiple project specs as well as QC assets from internal and external crew to ensure quality and consistency.

• Edit and master dialogue
• QC assets from external editorial crew
• Work with internal crew to develop/refine editorial processes when necessary
• Work with external crew to fix issues as they arise
• Interface with producers to help with editorial-specific topics

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience (please provide any shipped titles)
• Proficiency with the Formosa VO Editorial Test
• Very detail oriented, organized, and able to work with thousands of assets
• Ability to work remotely with your own home setup - must have ProTools, iZotope RX, Microsoft Office, headphones, etc.
• High School education or equivalent required
• BA/BS in applicable field preferred

Requirements

• Proficiency in Pro Tools
• Proficiency in iZotope RX
• Familiarity with Excel
• Familiarity with other DAWs such as Reaper and Nuendo
• Familiarity with the game audio post production pipeline and its various components

• Strong ability to conduct effective in-person and email communications
• Ability to work both independently and with a team
• Ability to prioritize and juggle numerous projects and deadlines within an extremely fast paced and high volume environment
• High level of attention to detail and follow-through
