[Hiring] Social Media Specialist & Graphic Designer @Trident

Role Description

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Social Media Specialist & Graphic Designer to manage our brand’s social channels, design branded assets, and support key marketing initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with leadership to bring our visual content to life, execute monthly posting calendars, create custom branded flyers, and ensure quality control across all social touchpoints. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, quick to take initiative, efficient in Canva, and comfortable leveraging custom AI tools (e.g., custom GPTs) to streamline copy and content creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Asset Creation & Graphic Design (Primary Focus):
  • Design and edit eye-catching visual assets, social graphics, carousel posts, GIFs, and story cards using Canva.
  • Customize and produce branded flyers, workshop materials, and logos for our field teams and builder partners.
  • Create recurring monthly assets (e.g., Top 10 User cards) and personalized business card-style assets for spotlighted users.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all visual templates.
• Social Media Management & Execution:
  • Execute structured 4-week posting calendars and product feature push campaigns.
  • Daily organic engagement: Spend the first 30–60 minutes daily engaging with community posts, liking, and building relationships on social media platforms.
  • Draft engaging social media copy using our tailored AI GPT tool.
  • Handle email outreach using provided templates to deliver customized social media story assets directly to featured real estate agents and builders.
• Process Management & Proactive Communication:
  • Proactively manage tasks end-to-end within Trello: create card requests, organize assets, tag stakeholders for review, and flag completed tasks without needing constant supervision.
  • Follow strict quality checklists to ensure correct branding, names, labels, and links before final publishing.
  • Compile asset highlights for inclusion in the weekly company newsletter.

Qualifications

• Design Portfolio (Required): A strong portfolio showcasing clean, high-quality graphic design work, social media assets, or presentation materials.
• Proficiency in Canva: High expertise in using Canva for graphic design, template customization, and short animations/GIFs.
• Task & Process Mastery: Familiarity with project management tools like Trello.
• Proactive Mindset: Takes the initiative to create Trello cards, follow up on pending requests, communicate progress, and stay ahead of deadlines.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent eye for visual alignment, quality assurance, and following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• AI Tool Adaptability: Comfortable utilizing custom AI/GPT tools to write copy and generate ideas.
• Excellent written English communication skills.

Requirements

• Can commit to work for 40 hrs work week.
• Flexibility to work in U.S. time zones, Monday to Friday.
• Able to maintain a distraction-free home office setup.
• Possess a laptop/desktop meeting minimum specifications: 16GB RAM, i5 operating system.
• Dual monitor is a plus.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 15 MBPS).
