[Hiring] Senior Product Designer @CodePath

Role Description

CodePath is looking for our first Senior Product Designer to own the experience design of our learning platform. This is a hands-on individual contributor role where you'll:

• Design end-to-end user flows, navigation, and information architecture across the platform.
• Document designs as wireframes and specifications for engineers.
• Own CodePath's design system, including interaction patterns, components, and standards.
• Run lightweight product discovery by talking to students, staff, and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with product managers to turn prioritized initiatives into build-ready designs.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve design questions during the build process.
• Direct a UI design contractor to extend your output.
• Set and hold the bar for experience quality across the product.

Qualifications

• 6+ years designing web products end-to-end, with a portfolio showcasing your thinking on flows and structure.
• Strong information architecture and interaction design skills.
• Experience running your own discovery by engaging with users and stakeholders.
• Experience building a design system.
• Fluency in producing engineer-ready artifacts (wireframes, prototypes, specs) in Figma or a comparable tool.
• Comfort with ambiguity and small-team dynamics.
• Front-end fluency (HTML, CSS, Tailwind) to collaborate closely with engineers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact.

• Location: Remote (United States, Europe, Canada, or LATAM)
• Role Type: Full-time
• Reporting to: VP of Engineering
• Compensation: $148,000 to $190,000 per year for US-based applicants, adjusted for other locations.
