[Hiring] Senior Product Designer @WhiteTech

Role Description

Designing and developing FinTech products, including user flows, new functionality, and interfaces for desktop and mobile. We are looking for a designer with proven experience working on commercial products who can understand the context of a task, identify user needs, take business and technical constraints into account, and bring solutions all the way to launch. An important part of the role is developing and maintaining large-scale design systems, including component libraries, design tokens, patterns, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design new features, pages, and complex multi-step user flows.
• Improve existing products based on user needs, product data, and business requirements.
• Define interface structure, logic, states, error handling, and edge cases.
• Create responsive designs for desktop and mobile.
• Build interactive prototypes to validate and present design solutions.
• Present and justify design decisions to the product team and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain design systems, including components, variants, patterns, tokens, and documentation.
• Assess how proposed changes may impact existing user flows and components.
• Prepare designs and specifications for development.
• Support implementation, conduct design reviews, and ensure UI quality.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA Engineers.
• Use AI tools to automate routine tasks, including processing materials, preparing documentation and specifications, and organizing data.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience as a Senior Product Designer.
• Experience working on products that have been launched and are actively used by customers. Educational concepts and pet projects are not considered proof of professional experience.
• A portfolio with implemented projects that clearly demonstrate the problem, your role, constraints, design decisions, and results.
• Experience designing complex multi-step flows, forms, dashboards, tables, or data-heavy interfaces.
• Ability to identify user needs and translate them into interface requirements.
• Strong UX and UI design skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, Components, Variants, and Variables.
• Hands-on experience working with large-scale design systems and component libraries.
• Experience creating and maintaining design tokens.
• Strong understanding of component structure, states, variants, and dependencies.
• Experience with interactive prototyping and presenting design solutions.
• Understanding of responsive design principles.
• Ability to work within technical constraints and align solutions with developers.
• Ability to independently own a task from problem definition through implementation review.
• Strong attention to detail, consistency, and ownership of design quality.
• Ability to use AI to automate workflows without replacing product analysis and interface design.

Nice to Have

• Commercial experience with FinTech products, banking services, or payment systems.
• Experience developing a design system used across multiple products or platforms.
• Experience conducting user research and prototype testing.
• Knowledge of accessibility requirements and experience applying them in commercial products.
