Role Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Product Designer with a strong focus on delivering outcome-driven design solutions to join our Product Design function.
- Be a key player within a team of 3 product designers, fostering collaboration and sharing best practices.
- Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that effectively solve complex user challenges and drive measurable business outcomes.
- Influence the design of repeatable processes to streamline collaboration with Engineering and Product Management teams.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and business objectives.
- Advocate for an outcome-driven approach to design and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results.
- Translate business objectives into actionable design solutions that drive user engagement, retention, and conversion.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that align with business goals and user needs.
- Design and deliver user stories, user journeys, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Develop and maintain design guidelines, style guides, and design systems to ensure consistency and alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Iterate together with your team on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights to continuously improve the user experience and achieve desired outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience in setting up, maintaining and working with a design system.
- A number of years of experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of collaborating closely with Product Managers and Front End developers.
- Proficient in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar and Jira.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, with a focus on simplicity, functionality, and usability.
- Strong communication and moderating skills (UX Workshops, Demos, etc.).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, iterative development process.
- Portfolio showcasing your design expertise, collaboration with product teams, and contributions to achieving business objectives.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, enabling effective collaboration with Front End developers.
- A Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field would be nice to have but not essential.
