Role Description
The Senior Print Designer produces complex technical production tasks and maintains the delivery quality. He reports to the Lead Designer and is responsible for creating mechanicals, final print and digital deliverables for Direct Mail, print Ads, Out of Home (OOH), and works along with Digital email banners and basic animated GIF files.

Ability to take an approved master creative composition and lay it out into various sizes and formats while keeping the original intent of the approved creative intact.
Responsibilities

Produce complex technical production tasks and maintain the delivery quality.

Work closely with Print designers teams and Lead Print Designer to ensure final ready-to-print assets meet printersβ technical requirements and align with brand guidelines.

Have an in-depth knowledge of all processes needed for print production.

Able to produce mid-level Image Retouching operations.

Multitask and collaborate directly with other disciplines (Print/Digital).

Take ownership of a project and ensure it is delivered within the deadline.

Ensure that all production operations delegated to Print Designers are well monitored and meet the standard quality level.

Eye for detail and can spot inconsistencies at a glance.

Assist the Lead Print Designer and Principal Print Designer with brief analysis and estimation.

Remain up to date on new technologies/best practices and share knowledge with team members.

Provide feedback on the production process when an opportunity for improvement exists.

Can communicate with clients and assist the Lead Print Designer in conference calls.

Create and revise various graphic materials including creative (conventional) presentations, mechanical and pre-press documents used for commercial printing purposes, and organize various layered file formats.

Possess a solid understanding of the industry standard operating procedures, workflow, and extensive technical production requirements.

Respond to clientsβ needs and foster a team relationship with co-workers to improve overall design, production, and client service skills internally and with other agency departments.

Provide recommendations and be a source for new proposals.
Management Responsibilities

Create training programs.

Ensure junior designers are aligned with production processes.

With experience, ensure awareness of best practices for Junior and Intermediate team members about production difficulties with solutions.
Qualifications
-
Higher School Certificate with Design or Art as main subject.

Ability to produce ready-to-print materials.
-
Ability to train junior resources.
-
Strong understanding of layout and final file delivery specifications for both print and digital (social media pieces, landing pages, email design).

Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other software).

Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, and Figma.

Familiarity with Jira/ProofHQ workflow.

Solid knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and PDFs.
-
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team and support junior members in their growth and final print and digital expertise.
