[Hiring] Senior GenAI Motion Designer @Brandtech+

Role Description

Awareness and adoption of GenAI technology has transformed advertising, creating entirely new opportunities and challenges for creative teams. We’re looking for a Senior GenAI Motion Designer to deliver a wide range of different marketing material, including:

• Social assets such as GIFs or Instagram posts
• Cutdowns of TVCs
• 2D animation
• Graphics that include motion such as supers or icons
• Various graphic elements based on the provided assets

You will be trained on our AI platform, Pencil, and will be using Pencil along with a range of other AI tools to ensure you deliver high-performing, innovative ads.

Ultimately, as the Senior GenAI Motion Designer, you will create and edit video content, ensure high-quality production, and collaborate with the creative team to meet project goals through the use of AI as well as traditional tools.

Qualifications

• Experience as a motion designer in an advertising agency, in-house creative group, or related design studio
• Proven portfolio of motion design work, representing both traditional and AI-assisted projects
• Strong willingness to adapt current workflow to include GenAI
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Working knowledge of GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Veo3, etc.
• Comfortable with fundamental GenAI techniques like model selection, creative prompting, and collaborative AI-driven ideation
• A critical eye for detail - able to analyze GenAI-generated outputs and correct them via prompt refinement or additional editing tools
• Strong judgment in evaluating briefs and strategically identifying where and how GenAI can be integrated into the creative workflow
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal), and a collaborative attitude
• Optimism about the evolving role of GenAI in creativity, with adaptability and a solution-oriented mindset
• Awareness of legal/ethical considerations in using AI-generated assets

Requirements

• Take projects from brief to completion, injecting new ideas and creativity while adhering to the client's brand guidelines
• Strong skills in mastering, editing, remastering, and adjusting master assets for various crops and formats
• The ability to own your creative projects and craft assets that meet briefs and design standards
• Pitch fresh approaches and concepts confidently
• Oversee and manage the preparation of all finished files that comply with the correct output specifications
• Maintain an active AI proficiency and keep up to date by completing ongoing, structured internal AI training including Pencil
• Continuously up-skill using approved AI tools including Pencil
• Stay up to date with evolving AI trends through newsletters, webinars, hackathons, AI communities, etc.
• Collaborate and contribute to AI knowledge-sharing sessions
