Role Description
We’re looking for a Senior Content Designer to refine the words that guide millions of users. As our first dedicated expert, you’ll focus on mobile UX writing, microcopy, and marketing content—crafting clear, compelling language for in-app experiences, feature naming, and upsells. You’ll also bring cohesion drafting our UX content strategy and guide our brand through its next stage of growth.
- Write and refine UX copy for Photoroom’s mobile app, improving clarity, engagement, and usability.
- Work across product and marketing content, clarifying value and enhancing quality, as well as developing in-app purchases, upselling, and promotional touch points.
- Name new features with an international audience in mind, ensuring clarity and consistency, and ease of translation for key markets.
- Make data-driven decisions using internal insights and A/B testing to shape localization, terminology, and branded language strategies.
- Leverage AI for efficiency by building AI-friendly guidelines to streamline content creation.
- Drive high-impact execution by supporting web, design, and marketing teams on key content decisions (e.g., SEO, branding) and contributing to strategic projects company-wide.
Qualifications
- Strong UX writing experience for mobile products.
- Ability to craft microcopy that improves usability and engagement, as well as marketing-driven content like in-app purchases and upsells.
- Understanding of localization and internationalization, ensuring copy is clear and effective across languages.
- Advocacy for best practices and development of clear, effective guidelines for internal teams.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility, writing for a global audience, and data-driven optimization (A/B testing, user insights).
- Hands-on approach, ready to own product copy from strategy to execution.
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to streamline content creation.
- Native English speaker.

- Full remote from anywhere in Europe with monthly visits to our Paris office (fully expensed).

Hiring Process
