Role Description
We are looking for a senior-level Brand Designer & Social Editor to lead the creative function of the company from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to architect a complete visual identity for an established hospitality group, building brand guidelines from scratch and then owning their execution across nine venues day-to-day. You will work remotely from the Philippines during Australian business hours, partnering closely with the on-the-ground Marketing Coordinator in Australia, who manages on-site shoots, venue relationships, and content coordination. Paid advertising stays with an external agency, your focus is purely brand, organic content, and creative execution.
Responsibilities
-
Brand Architecture (First Major Project)
-
Build a comprehensive brand book for the company from the ground up β colour palettes, typography systems, and brand archetypes.
-
Develop tone of voice and copywriting guidelines across the group.
-
Establish brand governance and approval frameworks for consistent cross-venue application.
-
Redesign existing collateral to bring all venues into visual alignment.
-
Centralise all design assets into a single, team-accessible platform (platform TBC).
-
Ongoing Design & Collateral
-
Manage daily artwork requests and menu maintenance across all nine venues β pricing accuracy and multilingual spelling (Italian and Greek) are non-negotiable.
-
Produce event proposals, catering packages, and sales documents as required.
-
Maintain visual consistency and brand standards across all physical and digital touchpoints.
-
Social Media Content & Editorial
-
Create 20+ reels per month from quarterly photo shoot content β must be able to clip, edit, and produce from supplied footage.
-
Manage the content calendar in partnership with the marketing coordinator.
-
Coordinate user-generated content across venues and integrate it into the broader content mix.
-
Collaborate with Sasha on content strategy and overall creative direction for organic social channels.
Qualifications
-
Senior art director or brand designer level β you have built or overhauled a brand before and can demonstrate it with your portfolio.
-
Expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator is required.
-
Canva proficiency is required for day-to-day collateral and venue-level design work.
-
Solid video editing and reel production skills β comfortable clipping, editing, and formatting content for Instagram and Facebook.
-
Strong working knowledge of AI tools for design ideation and production efficiency.
-
Comfortable using AI for competitor and market research (e.g. Meta Ads Library).
-
Exceptional attention to detail β spelling accuracy, pricing correctness, and brand consistency are held to an uncompromising standard.
-
Confident remote communicator capable of managing multiple venues and stakeholders across time zones.
-
Hospitality industry experience is strongly preferred.
Preferred Skills (nice to have)
-
Prior experience in a hospitality, food and beverage, or multi-venue brand environment.
-
Familiarity with content calendar tools and social media scheduling platforms.
-
Experience transitioning a brand's social media from an agency to an in-house function.
-
Exposure to Italian and/or Greek language content or multilingual design work.
-
Experience working alongside an on-the-ground marketing coordinator in a hybrid remote/in-person team structure.
