Role Description
Woolpert Company is hiring a Senior Architectural Designer to join its dynamic team of architects at its Orlando, FL office. As a Senior Designer, you are integral in leading project execution phases and directly presenting technical and design solutions to clients. This expert-level position involves:

Proactively guiding the conceptual design phases of projects, ensuring comprehensive support and innovative solutions throughout project development.

Acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for specialized systems, providing advanced technical advice that influences project outcomes.

Working closely with project managers, architects, and consultants to align project execution with strategic objectives.

Developing and championing critical technical and design perspectives, advocating for effective project strategies.

Collaborating with firm leadership to devise technical solutions and strategies that enhance project and business outcomes.

Addressing complex design challenges with innovative solutions and new architectural methods.

Contributing to the architectural field through publications and active participation in professional societies.

Assisting in budget formulation by providing accurate technical cost estimates.

Ensuring that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality through meticulous review and input.
Qualifications

Must have a BA/BS degree and ten (10) years related experience.

Advanced knowledge of technical performance with relevant applications.

Ability to be relied on as the first level of senior expertise in discipline.

Fully developed ability to leverage software applications.

Able to supervise/manage discipline teams at a project-wide level for increasingly complex projects, including overall objectives and critical issues.

Ability to interact positively with discipline leadership and staff to ensure completion of projects that meet company goals and quality standards.

Ability to develop, or currently developing, industry expertise as a SME (design, technical, sustainability, etc.).

Must have strong Microsoft Office suite skills.
