[Hiring] Senior 2D Animator @Big Happy

Role Description

We are seeking talented 2D Animators to join our fast-paced creative team, focused on delivering high quality visual content for advertising and digital media. In this role, you will create engaging animations and motion graphics, often working across multiple variations and formats to support campaign deliverables.

NOTE: Candidates must be open to work within USA time zones EST/EDT and PST/PDT hours.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a 2D Animator with a strong portfolio or showreel.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Animate (Animate CC).
• Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, squash & stretch, etc.).
• Experience in motion graphics and/or character animation.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and deliver under tight timelines.
• Good eye for design, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements

• Experience creating animations for games or interactive media, including character motion and UI transitions.
• Understanding of animation optimization and adapting motion for different screen sizes and device performance.
• Experience collaborating with designers, developers, and 3D teams to align animations with user interaction and overall visual output.
• Basic knowledge of video editing and post-production workflows.
• Stay up to date with emerging tools, plug-ins, and motion design trends to enhance quality and efficiency.
