Role Description

As Principal, User Experience, you will own the problem of designing the agent-to-human interface for media. Your responsibilities include:

• Owning and evolving the agent-to-human interface for media, including how planners teach agents, direct multiple agents across campaigns, and correct outputs to improve the system.
• Owning the end-to-end user experience across Newton's platform — planning, buying, measurement, and the workflows that connect them.
• Making complex analytical outputs clear and defensible to non-technical decision makers.
• Designing the approval and control experience for governed action, including what agents can execute and how customers set limits.
• Staying hands-on with wireframes, high-fidelity design, interactive prototypes, and close collaboration with engineering during implementation.
• Building and maintaining Newton's design system and front-end design standards.
• Running lightweight research and usability work with customers, turning insights into design decisions and product direction.
• Partnering with product and data science to pressure-test concepts and with sales and marketing on demos and narratives.
• Hiring, mentoring, and leading a growing design team, establishing critique, process, and quality standards.
• Bringing a point of view on the future of interfaces as AI reshapes enterprise software.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing digital products, with deep experience in complex B2B or enterprise SaaS.
• Demonstrated ability to lead design for a full product surface, not just features.
• Experience leading or mentoring other designers, with an appetite to build a team.
• A portfolio showcasing data-dense, workflow-heavy interfaces made genuinely usable; data visualization craft is a strong plus.
• Fluency with modern design and prototyping tools, and comfort prototyping in code or with AI tooling.
• Track record of shipping alongside engineering in a fast-moving environment, with a real design system behind you.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Adtech, martech, marketing analytics, or other quantitative domain experience is a strong plus.
• A real point of view on AI-native product design.

Benefits

• Salary range: $180,000-$220,000+ Equity.
